How the five-gallon exchange works
Five-gallon bottles are built to be reused, not discarded. Each delivery is a straight exchange: the number of empties you set out is the number of full bottles that replace them.
That keeps empty jugs from stacking up in a garage or a break room, and it means you are never making a separate trip to return them.

What if I have fewer empties than usual?
Tell us before your delivery. We can still bring your full bottles, and your bottle balance and deposit are reconciled when the remaining empties come back.
Can I use bottles I already own?
Let us know the bottle type and condition when you request service. We confirm what we can accept into the exchange before your first delivery.
Do empty bottles need to be cleaned?
Just empty them and leave the caps off. Returned bottles are inspected and reconditioned by the bottler before they are refilled.
